Do you have young children? You’ll love all of the thoughtful, kid-friendly amenities at La Costa Paradiso. We have everything you might need for a baby or toddler, including infant bathtubs, bottles, eating utensils, a high chair, pack n plays, bouncers, a crib, safety gates, safety plugs, and much more. There is a babygate attached to the bottom and the top of the stairs that lead up to the loft and bedroom. As we mentioned, the pool area is gated, and all of the doors have extra security locks and alarms to ensure your peace of mind and your kid’s safety.
La Costa Paradiso is the perfect location to do it all! The 5 freeway is very close which will take you right to your theme park destinations. No need to get on the 5 freeway for LEGOLAND it is only a few minutes away!! A few minutes away from Downtown Carlsbad, great restaurants and shopping boutiques. Only 30 minutes away from Sea World, San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, Museums, Seaport Village, the Wild Animal Park is about 45 minutes away. Just about an hour away, Disneyland, Laguna Beach, Newport Beach, Capistrano Mission. Knotts Berry Farm.

La Costa Paradiso is super clean and completely furnished. La Costa Paradiso is a non-smoking home. We have thought of everything that you may need and it is fully appointed! There is a well stocked kitchen with all the pantry essentials, including spices, kitchen appliances galore and dinner service for 12. For your children’s safety there is a fenced front yard with a gate that can be locked. The back yard is gated and has child safety pool fencing along the private pool and spa. PLEASE NOTE: This is a family home and is not intended for use to host parties, large gatherings or large groups. Only guests staying at the home are allowed.

The location of our private paradise is absolutley perfect and close to everything. The home is near the beautiful ocean and Legoland. Legoland has a waterpark and sealife aquarium that the kiddos will enjoy.
Golf is just around the corner at La Costa Resort, or the Four Seasons Resort. The Crossings and Encinitas Ranch Golf Course are just a few minutes away. Plenty of shopping at the Carlsbad Forum Shops and the Carlsbad Outlet Mall. Walk to the luxury movie theater Cineopolis (this is a must!!!) the whole family will love this theater and your kids will be in heaven. The Musuem of Music is located next to Legoland. Hop on the 5 FWY and head to San Diego Zoo, Seaworld, Balboa Park Museums, downtown San Diego, Seaport Village all 30 minutes away. Disneyland,Knotts Berry Farm are less than an hour away. If you would like a fun train ride with a scenic view jump on the Coaster.
There are plenty of great restaurants around very close by, you can even walk to a few. Walk on over to the Von’s grocery store, Carlsbad Library right next to the luxury movie theater or have some Sushi, Pizza, Burgers or a Starbucks. There are many more amenities in the nearby plaza’s. including: drugstore, urgent care, bagel shop, donuts, UPS, veterinarian, Kidsville Playtown. A must see is the Botanical Gardens in Encinitas just a few minutes away. Grocery stores very close are Von’s and Albertson’s. Costco and Trader Joes are near also.

The pictures are accurate – this house is as beautiful and as clean as the pictures show!! The location is perfect – an easy drive to San Diego and just down the road from Legoland and the beach. We spent the days seeing all the area sites and the evenings enjoying this great vacation home. Our 8 year old boys loved the pool and the adults loved the hot tub. The game room (garage) was excellent too. This house has everything you could need! It was easy to cook in the well appointed kitchen. Vons (the grocery store) is right down the road (and they deliver!). They also had extra things that were so nice – tons of towels, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, pool toys, beach toys, coolers for our picnics, full size washer/dryer, etc.. Anything we needed, it was there. Our stay was perfect.
It was the perfect base for some memory-making adventures.

We stayed at this family friendly home over our spring break this year – six adults and three children (ages 5, 3, and 10 months) – and it was the perfect base for some memory-making adventures. The sparkling clean pool was a big hit, especially with the 5 and 3 years olds – we opted to have it heated and it was just perfect. The hot tub was also a favorite for all of us. The modern kitchen is very well appointed – we ate in every night, and found it very easy to make some wonderful meals. Plenty of pots and pans, dishes and glasses, and even baby dishes and cups … along with just about every spice you can imagine. Be sure to see what’s already there before heading out to buy groceries. I also really liked the fact that there were plenty of pool towels, as well as lots of wonderfully fluffy towels for indoor bath use – we have stayed at other vacation homes and this was the first time we had such nice towels. There is also a great washer and dryer for laundry. This is the perfect vacation home for anyone with young children – it’s clean, safe, and there is a huge array of toys and games to keep the children occupied should you be able to tear them away from the fun of being in the pool. Location can’t be beat – close to Lego Land and beaches. We also drove into San Diego to visit Old Town and Balboa Park – so much to do in the area around this home. The owner is very proactive in making sure everything is in good order, and although we never needed to contact her about any problems, it was very clear that she would have dealt with anything that might have come up. The only drawback for us was having to leave at the end of the week!
So glad we were able to rent this home!

This place was perfect for 2 families of 5 with kids ranging in age from 2 to 16! We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and beach toys! House was clean and had everything we needed including things in the kitchen to make all our meals and grill a couple of times! Room for everyone to relax and be together! This house is in a great neighborhood, very quiet and safe and easy to get on and off major highways to see the sights! Loved the beaches within 5 minutes from the house! If we are ever in the area again we will definitely come back here! So glad we were able to rent this home!

We came here with our family and extended family for a winter getaway. (4 adults and 6 kids) This had plenty of room and was perfect. They had everything you could possibly need for kids and adults alike. Lots of extra bedding, lots of towels, comfy beds, crib for my little one, toys for baby and up, board games, cooler to bring to the beach, and so much more! There is a blow up mattress if needed for extra sleeping that we did not use. We just made a bed on the floor for our 4 year old. It is close to the ocean and we loved the beach that the owners recommended! They have boogie boards for the kids to use and sand toys in the garage as well. I feel like this was such a great house for us and it was so convenient with only being a 1/2 hour from San Diego and an hour from Disney. I would definitely come back! The neighborhood is so nice and feels very safe and secure. We all enjoyed the hot tub and swimming pool as well. It was really nice to have our own pool area. It was worth it to pay extra for the heated pool as well. I can’t say enough good things about this house. They really have thought of everything!!!

We have stayed at many homes using VRBO and this house could not have been better for our family, it was perfect. The owners are great and were available at all times if we needed anything. The pictures are exactly what you get. Our kids loved the pool, games, and learning how to play pingpong/foosball. The house and yards are beautiful, and the house is well kept!!! Great neighborhood and location was great. Beautiful beaches nearby, Legoland a few minutes away. There is a shopping center a couple of minutes away called the Forum Shops and my wife loved all of the stores! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this great home. Very comfortable home and layout was great for our family. Would definitely rent it again. Thanks for everything. George and Family
